Can you take hormones after having a stroke and taking Plavix? - plavix more drug_warnings_recalls
My mother had a stroke there is about 2 years (39 years old, not overweight, not a drug addict, does not smoke) and is on a blood thinner. Because blood is so thin, your time is bad. She wants to have a hysterectomy, but need to take these hormones. Since you can not take drugs, while Plavix would be able to take hormones?

It would be the better question to your doctor. There are several factors that a decision on whether to get a hysterectomy, hormones, or you can take to make a drug like Plavix.
ReplyDeleteMy recommendation would be that talking to your doctor about reducing the dose or switch to something that is not so bad if the blood is too thin and that affects your period ... This is not right and will probably not in good health. Not sure this has nothing to do with his decision to purchase a hysterectomy, but this is certainly a concern that it would be better directed to your physician. Good luck to both!
